THE MAGIC FLUTE,
celebrating the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth.

The Magic Flute will take you on a mythical journey accompanied by enchanting characters in a magical and mystical setting. Young prince Tamino, together with his sidekick Papageno, embarks on a quest to find and free the Queen of the Night’s daughter Pamina from her abductor, high priest Sarastro, enduring along the way trials of silence, fire and water ultimately leading to enlightenment and redemption. This exciting new production of Mozart's sublime final opera, performed in English, commemorates the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth. Theresa D'Aiuto Andrasy directs a cast of talented vocal students with William Wiedrich conducting the USF Symphony Orchestra.
